Dai, Mengwei’s team published research in Chemical Engineering Journal (Amsterdam, Netherlands) in 2021-10-01 | 112-63-0

Chemical Engineering Journal (Amsterdam, Netherlands) published new progress about Carbon nanotubes. 112-63-0 belongs to class esters-buliding-blocks, and the molecular formula is C19H34O2, Quality Control of 112-63-0.

Dai, Mengwei; Zhai, Yinghao; Zhang, Yong published the artcile< A green approach to preparing hydrophobic, electrically conductive textiles based on waterborne polyurethane for electromagnetic interference shielding with low reflectivity>, Quality Control of 112-63-0, the main research area is green preparing hydrophobic elec conductive textile waterborne polyurethane.

A green method was employed to fabricate a coated textile with hydrophobic surface that provided electromagnetic interference shielding performance with low reflectivity. First, two-component waterborne polyurethane dispersions modified with hydroxyl-terminated polydimethylsiloxane were synthesized. Multi-walled carbon nanotubes (CNT) and graphene were well dispersed in water via high pressure microfluidizer. Waterborne polyurethane and fillers containing 80% CNT and 20% graphene were applied to textiles by dipping method. The water contact angles of the polyurethane coating and the coated textile were 103.4° and 153.6°, resp., when the polyurethane contained 10% hydroxyl-terminated polydimethylsiloxane. The electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding effectiveness (EMI SE) of the coated textile (3% filler loading) could achieve 35 dB with a thickness of only 0.35 mm and the reflectivity is ca. 41.4%. By dipping a textile into polyurethane dispersions with different filler loadings (1% and 3%) to obtain a coated textile with a two-layer structure coating. EMI SE of the coated textile reached 30 dB and the reflectivity was only ca. 26.5%, indicating 26.5% of the electromagnetic waves is reflected during the propagation process when 99.9% electromagnetic waves is attenuated. Possible attenuation mechanisms of electromagnetic waves such as dielec. loss, multiple reflections, scattering and conductive loss were discussed. The mech. properties, thermal conductivity and thermal stability of the coatings and coated textiles were studied. The coated textiles fabricated in a green and facile approach with excellent electromagnetic shielding performance and low reflectivity have great potential in advanced EMI shielding applications.

Ding, Renjie; Ning, Suyun; Yang, Xiaoling; Shi, Jingchao; Zhao, Sijun; Zhang, Airong; Gao, Xiaoxia; Tian, Junsheng; Zhang, Bin; Qin, Xuemei published the artcile< Brain and testicular metabonomics revealed the protective effects of Guilingji on senile sexual dysfunction rats>, Electric Literature of 112-63-0, the main research area is brain testicular metabonomics senile sexual dysfunction; Brain; GLJ; LC-MS Metabonomics; Senile sexual dysfunction; Testis.

Guilingji (GLJ), which has been used to treat male diseases in China for centuries, contains 28 Chinese herbs and was previously established as an effective treatment for male sexual dysfunction. However, its mechanism of action remains unclear. To explore the efficacy and mechanism of action of GLJ in improving senile sexual dysfunction (SSD) in aging rats. An aging rat model of SSD was induced by the s.c. injection of D-galactose (300 mg·kg-1) and used to analyze the effects of GLJ (different concentrations of 37.5, 75, and 150 mg·kg-1) on the mating of aging rats. At the end of the 8th week, histopathol. anal. of testicular tissues, assessment of the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal (HPG) axis hormone levels in serum or brain, and metabonomics anal. of the brain and testicular tissue with liquid chromatog.-mass spectrometry was performed to explore the mechanism of action of GLJ. After treatment with GLJ, the mount and ejaculation latency levels were increased in the treatment group than those in model group (P < 0.05), moreover, the testicular morphol. was improved. Gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) and LH (LH) levels in rats were also improved significant (P < 0.05) compared with those in the model group. Furthermore, the metabonomics results in the testicular and brain tissue showed that GLJ improved SSD by adjusting amino acid and lipid metabolism This study integrated the complementary metabolic profiles of the target tissues. GLJ might affect SSD rats by regulating amino acid and lipid metabolism and may modulate sensitivity to the signaling pathway in the HPG axis. This study provides an essential basis for the broad clin. application of GLJ. Wang, Ying; Hodge, Rebecca A.; Stevens, Victoria L.; Hartman, Terryl J.; McCullough, Marjorie L. published the artcile< Identification and reproducibility of urinary metabolomic biomarkers of habitual food intake in a cross-sectional analysis of the cancer prevention study-3 diet assessment sub-study>, Related Products of 112-63-0, the main research area is tryptophan betaine N methyltaurine acesulfame sucralose urine biomarker metabolomics; 24 h diet recalls; FFQ; food biomarker; untargeted metabolomics; urine.

Previous cross-sectional metabolomics studies have identified many potential dietary biomarkers, mostly in blood. Few studies examined urine samples although urine is preferred for dietary biomarker discovery. Furthermore, little is known regarding the reproducibility of urinary metabolomic biomarkers over time. We aimed to identify urinary metabolomic biomarkers of diet and assess their reproducibility over time. We conducted a metabolomics anal. among 648 racially/ethnically diverse men and women in the Diet Assessment Sub-study of the Cancer Prevention Study-3 cohort to examine the correlation between >100 food groups/items [101 by a food frequency questionnaire (FFQ), and 105 by repeated 24 h diet recalls (24HRs)] and 1391 metabolites measured in 24 h urine sample replicates, six months apart. Diet-metabolite associations were examined by Pearson′s partial correlation anal. Biomarkers were evaluated for prediction accuracy assessed using area under the curve (AUC) calculated from the receiver operating characteristic curve and for reproducibility assessed using intraclass correlation coefficients (ICCs). A total of 1708 diet-metabolite associations were identified after Bonferroni correction for multiple comparisons and restricting correlation coefficients to >0.2 or <-0.2 (1570 associations using the FFQ and 933 using 24HRs), 513 unique metabolites correlated with 79 food groups/items. The median ICCs of the 513 putative biomarkers was 0.53 (interquartile range 0.42-0.62). In this study, with comprehensive dietary data and repeated 24 h urinary metabolic profiles, we identified a large number of diet-metabolite correlations and replicated many found in previous studies. Our findings revealed the promise of urine samples for dietary biomarker discovery in a large cohort study and provide important information on biomarker reproducibility, which could facilitate their utilization in future clin. and epidemiol. studies. Vadkerti, Bence; Juhasz, Anett; Lakatos, Csilla; Zsuga, Miklos; Keki, Sandor; Nagy, Lajos published the artcile< Reactivity of multi-arm polyols towards isocyanates>, SDS of cas: 112-63-0, the main research area is multi arm polyol isocyanate crosslinking agent UV absorption.

In this research, the kinetics of the reaction of various polymer polyol crosslinking agents with Ph isocyanate is reported. Pentaerythritol (PE), trimethylol propane (TMP), ethoxylated (PEEO) and propoxylated (PEPO) pentaerythritol oligomers as well as Petol PA 500-5D (a propoxylated diethylenetriamine with 5 arms) were used as crosslinking agents. These polyols were applied in high molar excess to isocyanate to obtain pseudo first-order rate dependencies. The reaction products were separated by HPLC and detected by UV absorption. In addition, Petol PA 500-5D was determined to be the most reactive polyol, which is ascribed to the fact that it carries some catalytic properties similar to other tertiary amine catalysts. Furthermore, the reactions were also carried out in high isocyanate molar excess to polyols in order to determine how the number of reacted hydroxyl groups influences the reactivity of unreacted hydroxyl groups. The separation of the products could be achieved by HPLC for PE and TMP; however, in the case of PEEO, PEPO and Petol PA 500-5D, due to the high number of products, MALDI-TOF MS was applied. The results clearly showed that the reactivity of the unreacted OH groups significantly changed upon reaction in the case of PE and TMP, while for the polymer polyols, steric and inductive effects slightly modified the relative reactivities of the OH groups in each crosslinking agent.

Zheng, Yongfeng; Liang, Chunhong; Li, Ziwei; Chen, Jiao; Chen, Zhuoping; Jiang, Yanping; Dong, Qin; Xiao, Yujie; Fu, Chaomei; Liao, Wan; Yuan, Xing published the artcile< Study on the mechanism of Huangqin Decoction on rats with ulcerative colitis of damp-heat type base on mtDNA, TLR4, p-PI3K, p-Akt protein expression and microbiota>, Synthetic Route of 112-63-0, the main research area is Huangqin decoction antiinflammatory mitochondrial DNA TLR4 expression ulcerative colitis; Damp-heat ulcerative colitis; Huangqin decoction; Intestinal microbiota; Mitochondrial DNA; TLR4; p-Akt and p-PI3K.

Huangqin decoction (HQD), composed of Scutellaria(Huangqin), Peony(Shaoyao), Liquorice(Gancao) and Jujube(Dazao), is a traditional Chinese medicine prescription, originated from treatise on Febrile Diseases, has the functions of clearing heat, stopping benefits and relieving pain. It is the original prescription for treating heat and relieving dysentery, and is commonly used in clinic for diarrhea and other diseases. In ulcerative colitis, damp-heat syndrome is the most common. However, its mechanism of action is not completely clear. The purpose of the research is to investigate the protective effect of HQD on ulcerative colitis rats and the regulation effect of mitochondrial DNA, TLR4, p-Akt, p-PI3K protein and microbiota. The effects of HQD anti-UC were investigated by fluorescence quant. PCR, cytokine level and histopathol. anal. in DSS-induced ulcerative colitis (UC) rats. The content of mtDNA in colon epithelial cells of rats in each group was detected by fluorescence quant. PCR, p-PI3K, p-Akt and TLR4 protein expressions in colon tissues of rats in each group were detected by Western blotting. IL-6, IL-17 and IL-23 inflammatory factors were detected by ELISA. The effect of HQD on intestinal microbiota of rats with ulcerative colitis was studied by high-throughput sequencing technol., and the correlation between mtDNA level and inflammatory factors as well as protein expression in colonic epithelium of rats with ulcerative colitis was analyzed by SPSS23.0. HQD significantly alleviated UC symptoms by improving the mucosal intestinal epithelial cell structure, mental state, hair gloss, fecal occult blood, lamina propria intestinal glands and inflammatory cell infiltration. And HQD reduced the pro-inflammatory cytokines in the colonic epithelium of UC rats Production of IL-6, IL-17 and IL-23. The HE stained section of colon tissue showed a complete intestinal epithelial mucosal layer structure. The structure of epithelial cells was more normal and abundant. There were more goblet cells in lamina propria adenoma, which improved the infiltration of inflammatory cells. HQD significantly inhibited the mtDNA content in rat colonic epithelial tissue, and significantly inhibited the expression of TLR4, p-PI3K and p-Akt inflammatory signaling pathways. The results of the microbiota experiment showed that the abundance of HQD in the phylum Firmicutes increased, and the number of Bacteroides phylum decreased (p < 0.05). At the genus level, HQD significantly increased Lactobacillus and Firmicutes Bacteroides, while Treponema and Bacteroides were significantly reduced (p < 0.05). HQD has a certain protective effect on rats with damp heat ulcerative colitis. Its mechanism may be related to regulating the expression of p-PI3K, p-Akt and TLR4 proteins, mitochondrial DNA as well as microbiota. Journal of Ethnopharmacology published new progress about Chinese medicine. 112-63-0 belongs to class esters-buliding-blocks, and the molecular formula is C19H34O2, Synthetic Route of 112-63-0.

Seebach, Dieter; Maestro, Miguel A.; Sefkow, Michael; Adam, Geo; Hintermann, Samuel; Neidlein, Axel published the artcile< Total synthesis of Myxovirescins. 1. Strategy and construction of the ""southeastern"" part [O(1)-C(14)]>, Safety of (9Z,12Z)-Methyl octadeca-9,12-dienoate, the main research area is myxovirescin total synthesis.

In this and the following two papers the synthesis of myxovirescins A1, A2 and M2, 28-membered macrocyclic lactam-lactones with antibiotic activity, is described. A retrosynthetic anal. of the myxovirescin family of ca. 30 target mols. leads to a strategy which could be applied to approx. half of them by slight variations of the building blocks used. The southeastern part of the mol., containing the atoms O(1)-C(14) of myxovirescins A and M is described in this first paper. The assembly is achieved by using the following appropriately protected units: (S)-2-hydroxy-pentanoic acid, ([1,3]dithian-2-ylmethyl)-amine, the triflate of (S,R)-2,2-dimethyl-5-vinyl-[1,3]dioxolan-4-ylmethanol, (E)-3-bromo-2-buten-1-ol, and (E)-2-bromo-2-buten-1,4-diol, the starting materials for these being malic acid, aminoacetaldehyde, ribose, crotyl alc. and butyne-1,4-diol. The building blocks are put together by using the following key steps: Kolbe electrolysis, amide formation, lithiodithiane alkylation, and Suzuki coupling. The only newly created chirality center [C(6) of the target mols.] is generated stereoselectively by a Li-selectride reduction/Mitsunobu inversion. The termini of the O(1)-C(14) fragment, I (X = H, OMe), carry a (protected) hydroxy acid and an aldehyde group for the Julia coupling and lactonization, resp., in the final steps of the synthesis. All intermediates are fully characterized. The x-ray crystal structures of two compounds prepared for incorporation as N(4)-C(11) and as C(12)-C(14) of the target mols. are also described.

To progress from laboratory research to com. applications, it is necessary to develop an effective method to prepare large quantities and high-quality of the large-size atomically thin molybdenum dichalcogenides (MoS2). Aqueous-phase processes provide a viable method for producing thin MoS2 sheets using organolithium-assisted exfoliation; unfortunately, this method is hindered by changing pristine semiconducting 2H phase to distorted metallic 1T phase. Recovery of the intrinsic 2H phase typically involves heating of the 1T MoS2 sheets on solid substrates at high temperature This has restricted and hindered the utilization of 2H phase MoS2 sheets suspensions. Here, we demonstrate that the synergistic effect of the rigid planar structure and charged nature of organic salt such as imidazole (ImH) can be successfully used to produce atomically thin 2H-MoS2 sheets suspension in water. Moreover, lateral size and area of the exfoliated sheet can be up to 50 μm and 1000 μm2, resp. According to the XPS measurements, nearly 100% of the 2H-MoS2 sheets was successfully prepared A composite paper supercapacitor using the exfoliated 2H-MoS2 and carbon nanotubes delivered a superior volumetric capacitance of ∼410 F/cm3. Therefore, the organic salts-assisted liquid-phase exfoliation has great potential for large-scale production of 2H-MoS2 suspensions for supercapacitor application.

Huang, Yansong; Jin, Yujuan; Wang, Bo; Tian, Huafeng; Weng, Yunxuan; Sun, Kangdi; Men, Shuang published the artcile< Preparation and characterization of compatibilized and toughened polylactic acid/cellulose acetate films by long-chain hyperbranched polymers>, Name: (9Z,12Z)-Methyl octadeca-9,12-dienoate, the main research area is compatibilized toughened polylactide cellulose acetate hyperbranched polymer.

A type of long-chain hyperbranched polymers (LCHBPs) was prepared by grafting hydroxyl-terminated flexible long chain onto hyperbranched polymers (HBPs). The structure of LCHBPs was confirmed by Fourier transform IR (FT-IR) and NMR (1H-NMR) anal. It was then used as the modifier for toughening and compatibilizing the polylactic acid (PLA)/cellulose acetate (CA) blends. Upon the addition of LCHBPs, the compatibility between PLA and CA was improved, the dispersion of CA particles in PLA matrix was more uniform, and the brittle-ductile tear transition of the PLA/CA blends was occurred. The crystallization of PLA was promoted by the addition of LCHBPs. By adding LCHBPs, glass transition temperature and cold crystallization temperature were reduced, the crystallizability was enhanced, and the crystallization temperature range was expanded. The thermal decomposition temperature of the PLA/CA was found increased with the addition of LCHBPs. When the content of LCHBPs was 1 phr, the elongation at break and the tear strength of the PLA/CA blends were increased by 484% and 38.24%, resp. Meanwhile, the thermal stability and hydrophilic properties of the blend films were improved by adding LCHBPs.
