To realize the utilization of high-performance lithium-oxygen batteries (LOBs), a rational-designed cathode structure and efficient catalytic materials are necessary. However, side products accumulated during battery cycling seriously affects the performance. Designing a cathode catalyst that could simultaneously facilitate the catalytic efficiency of the main reaction and inhibit the side reactions will make great sense. Herein, NiCeOx was proposed for the first time as a bifunctional cathode catalyst material for LOBs. The combined action of NiO and CeO2 components was expected to facilitate the decomposition of byproducts (e.g., Li2CO3), increase the oxygen vacancy content in CeO2, and enhance the adsorption of oxygen and superoxide. NiCeOx nanorods (NiCeOx PNR) were prepared using electrospinning method. It showed a hollow and porous nanorod (PNR)-like structure, which provided a large number of catalytic active sites and facilitated the transport of reactants and the deposition of discharge products. As a result, a high specific discharge capacity (2175.9 mAh g-1) and a long lifespan (67 cycles at 100 mA g-1 with a limited capacity of 500 mAh g-1) were obtained.

Results After application of the integrated physician-nurse-physician assistant collaboration mode, the duration of medical services was extended from 5.3 min to 6.5 min, the waiting time was shortened from 26.4 min to 22.5 min, the number of round tri ps to consulting room was reduced from 8.1 visits to 2.9 visits, the mean number of patient visits was increased from 39.7 visits to 46.6 visits according to the outpatient results of six endocrinologists, and the satisfaction score of patients and physicians was dramatically elevated, from 92.0±5.7 to 97.6±2.3(P < 0.01) and from 87.7±2.9 to 96.3±3.2(P < 0.01). Conclusion The integrated physician-nurse-physician assistant collaboration mode can improve the work quality and efficiency of the physicians in the endocrinol. outpatient, enhance the professional knowledge and communication ability of nurses and physician assistants, and optimize clinic experience of patients. Glioblastoma (GBM) is the most lethal among malignant gliomas. The tumor invasiveness and therapy-resistance are important clin. hallmarks. Growing evidence emphasizes the purinergic signaling contributing to tumor growth. Here we exposed a potential role of extracellular ATPase activity as a key regulator of temozolomide cytotoxicity and the migration process in GBM cells. The inhibition of ATP hydrolysis was able to improve the impact of temozolomide, causing arrest mainly in S and G2 phases of the cell cycle, leading M059J and U251 cells to apoptosis. In addition to eradicating GBM cells, ATP hydrolysis exhibited a potential to modulate the invasive phenotype and the expression of proteins involved in cell migration and epithelial-to-mesenchymal-like transition in a 3D culture model. Finally, we suggest the ATPase activity as a key target to decline temozolomide resistance and the migratory phenotype in GBM cells.

A kind of hyperbranched silicone containing macrophotoinitiators (HBSMIs) were synthesized from 2-hydroxy-2-methyl-1-Ph propanone (HMPP) and the UV-curing behaviors of HBSMIs were investigated in UV-cured transparent polyurethane-acrylate (PUA) coatings. HBSMIs show higher UV-initiating efficiency than HMPP. The migration of HBSMIs from the UV-cured coatings can be as low as 1.7-6.0 wt%, which is obviously lower than the migration of HMPP. There is a remarkable improvement of the tensile strength of the UV-cured materials initiated by HBSMI in comparison to that of the materials prepared with the same PUA initiated by HMPP. Especially for the UV-cured materials prepared from PUA with 20 wt% 1,1,1-tris(hydroxymethyl)propane (TMP), the tensile strength and the strain at break increased from 6.81 MPa to 12.14 MPa and from 43.0% to 71.9%, resp. The fraction of improvement for the tensile strength and the strain at break is as high as 78.9% and 67.2%, resp. The coatings prepared with HBSMI also have better UV resistance ability than those coatings prepared with HMPP because they turn slightly yellow when they are aged by UV for about 15 min while the coating prepared with 4 wt% of HMPP will turn yellow only aged by UV for 2 min. These results suggest that preparation hyperbranched silicone containing macrophotoinitiators will be one of the good strategies to improve the curing efficiency of the UV-curing system, reduce the migration of UV initiator from cured material, improve the mech. and UV resistance performance of UV-cured materials.
