Zhang, Huadan published the artcileOxidative stability of marine phospholipids derived from large yellow croaker roe, Application In Synthesis of 929-77-1, the main research area is Larimichthys phospholipids oxidative stability fatty acids volatile compound; Fatty acids compositions; Large yellow croaker roe; Marine phospholipids; Oxidative stability; Volatile compounds.

Large yellow croaker roe phospholipids (LYCPLs) have various functions and high nutritional value, which are expected to be functional foods ingredients. The aim of this study is to investigate the oxidative stability of LYCPLs at different temperatures (100 °C, 140 °C and 180 °C) in terms of peroxide value (POV), thiobarbituric acid-reactive substances value (TBARS), acid value (AV) and fatty acids compositions of phospholipids. The volatile compounds were also identified and analyzed via headspace solid-phase microextraction-gas chromatog.-mass spectroscopy (HS-SPME-GC-MS) and headspace gas chromatog.-ion mobility spectrometry (HS-GC-IMS). The results showed that the highest POV was 192.92, 133.70 and 121.25 meq/kg at 100 °C, 140 °C and 180 °C within 10-20 min, resp., then fell along with the increment of heating time, while the highest TBARS was 6.38, 7.66 and 8.19 mg/kg at 30 min, resp. The AV was increased, but monounsaturated fatty acid and polyunsaturated fatty acid content were decreased with the increment of temperatures A total of 94 volatile compounds were identified, and the content of alkanes, aldehydes, and heterocyclic compounds were reasonably increased, while the aromatic compound and amide compound content were decreased when LYCPLs heated at 180 °C. The present research improves the comprehensive understanding of oxidative stability of marine phospholipids.

Sireyil, Gulnazar published the artcileEffects of onion paste on flavor of a different kind of bread (naan) analyzed with E-Nose and GC-IMS, Safety of Benzyl acetate, the main research area is onion paste flavor bread ENose GCIMS.

In this study, electronic nose (E-Nose) and gas chromatog.-ion mobility spectrometry (GC-IMS) were used to analyze the effects of different amounts of onion paste (0, 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50%) on the flavor of naan (a different kind of bread with a round/circle shape, and naan is largely taken as favorite food in Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, China). The results showed that the E-Nose anal. could distinguish six kinds of naan flavor generated due to different amounts of onion paste. A total of 24 known volatile components were detected by GC-IMS, including alkanes, alkenes, phenols, esters, ketones, aldehydes, heterocycles, etc. Cluster anal. and principal component anal. (PCA) showed that six kinds of naan with different amounts of onion paste could be distinguished by flavor compounds The reliable results derived by GC-IMS, PCA, and linear discriminant anal. in this study can provide precise theor. guidance for revealing the formation of the flavor of similar bread products like naan. Novelty impact statement : Electronic nose and gas chromatog.-ion mobility spectrometry (GC-IMS) were used to analyze the effects of different amounts of onion paste (0, 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50%) on the flavor of round/circle bread (naan). Kujundzic, Toni published the artcileEffects of Defoliation Treatments of Babica Grape Variety(Vitis vinifera L.) on Volatile Compounds Content in Wine, Quality Control of 123-29-5, the main research area is Vitis wine volatile compound defoliation; defoliation; gas chromatography; volatile compounds; wine.

The aim of this study was to determine the effects of defoliation performed in the Babica red grape variety on the volatile compounds in produced wine. Three treatments were performed during 2017 and 2018: the removal of six leaves before flowering (FL) and at the end of veraison (VER), as well as control (C). Volatile compounds were analyzed using a gas chromatograph coupled to a mass spectrophotometric detector. Statistically evaluated by anal. of variance (ANOVA at the p = 0.05 level) and principal component anal. (PCA). Defoliation treatments were affected by the concentration of several compounds, but only in one year. The VER2017 treatment significantly increased the concentration of three aliphatic esters up to 8 C atoms and octanoic acid Et ester. The FL2017 treatment increased the concentration of three aliphatic alcs. The FL2018 treatment has significantly enhanced the concentration Et cinnamate but decreased the concentrations of eugenol and dihydro-2-methyl-3(2H)-thiophenone. Both defoliation treatments reduced the concentration of γ-decanolactone in 2017. Aldehydes, monoterpenoles, and monoterpenes remained unaffected by the defoliation treatments. Vintage was found to be the largest source of variability for most volatile compounds under investigation, which was confirmed by PCA. The effect of defoliation in the mild-Mediterranean climate was found to mostly depend on seasonal weather conditions.

Tanideh, Nader’s team published research in Food & Function in 2020 | CAS: 929-77-1

Food & Function published new progress about Canola oil Role: BSU (Biological Study, Unclassified), BIOL (Biological Study). 929-77-1 belongs to class esters-buliding-blocks, name is Methyl docosanoate, and the molecular formula is C23H46O2, COA of Formula: C23H46O2.

Tanideh, Nader published the artcileProtection by pure and genistein fortified extra virgin olive oil, canola oil, and rice bran oil against acetic acid-induced ulcerative colitis in rats, COA of Formula: C23H46O2, the main research area is ulcerative colitis genistein virgin olive canola rice bran oil.

Genistein is a major isoflavone with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities and hydrophobic features. To increase its bioavailability, researchers supplemented genistein with dietary oils. The present study aims to compare the effectiveness of genistein supplementation with water solution or oils and find the best possible dietary oil for fortification. A total of 135 male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly assigned to nine groups, including one control group and eight acetic acid-induced colitis groups. The rats in the intervention groups were treated with 5 mL per kg body weight of oral pure and genistein fortified forms of extra virgin olive oil (EVOO), canola oil (CaO), and rice bran oil (RBO); the Genistein group (G) received 100 mg per kg body weight of genistein in aqueous solution orally. The colitis and control groups did not receive any treatment. The levels of colonic MDA (malondialdehyde), MPO (myeloperoxidase) activity, and IL-1β (interleukin-1β) were evaluated and a stereol. anal. of colonic tissues was performed. All of the dietary oils (EVOO, CaO, and RBO) were effective at ameliorating the rats’ oxidative and inflammatory status (p < 0.05); however, EVOO (with or without genistein) prescription resulted in slightly better results, especially with regard to the inflammatory profile. Addnl., delivering genistein via an oil vehicle was more efficient at reducing MDA formation, MPO activity, and IL-1β concentration than genistein in aqueous solution The quant. anal. of colonic tissue was consistent with the biochem. anal. Our findings suggest that the oral administration of EVOO, canola oil, and rice bran oil can attenuate the elevated IL-1β levels and oxidative damage in induced colitis. Moreover, genistein fortified oils, especially EVOO, showed more beneficial effects in decreasing these markers in comparison with the pure oils or genistein (aqueous solution). Food & Function published new progress about Canola oil Role: BSU (Biological Study, Unclassified), BIOL (Biological Study). 929-77-1 belongs to class esters-buliding-blocks, name is Methyl docosanoate, and the molecular formula is C23H46O2, COA of Formula: C23H46O2.
