The solvents were removed under reduced pressure and the crude product was purified by column chromatography.

After that time, the mixture was cooled to room temperature and poured onto water. The mixture was extracted with EtOAc and the combined organic layers were washed with brine, dried (Na2S04), filtered and concentrated in vacuo. The crude material was purified by column chromatography on silica, eluted with 10% EtOAc/hexane to afford the title compound.
