Reference of Vinylene carbonate And the article was included in ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces in 2020. The article conveys some information:

Battery safety is an ever-increasing significance to guarantee consumer’s safety. Reducing or preventing the risk of battery fire and explosion is a must for battery manufacturers. Major reason for the occurrence of fire in com. lithium-ion batteries is the flammability of conventional organic liquid electrolyte, which is typically composed of 1 M LiPF6 salt and ethylene carbonate (EC)-based organic solvents. Herein, we report the designed 1 M LiPF6 and EC-based nonflammable electrolyte including methyl(2,2,2-trifluoroethyl)carbonate, which breaks the conventional perception that EC-based liquid electrolyte is always flammable. The designed electrolyte also provides high anodic stability beyond the conventional charge cut-off voltage of 4.2 V. A graphite‖LiNi0.6Co0.2Mn0.2O2 lithium-ion full cell with our designed EC-based nonflammable electrolyte with a small fraction of vinylene carbonate additive under an aggressive condition of 4.5 V charge cut-off voltage, 0.5C rate, and 45°C exhibits increased capacity, reduced interfacial resistance, and improved performance and rate capability. A basic understanding of how a high-voltage cathode-electrolyte interface and anode-electrolyte interface are stabilized and how failure modes are mitigated by fire-preventing electrolyte is discussed. 《Cobalt Nanoparticles-Catalyzed Widely Applicable Successive C-C Bond Cleavage in Alcohols to Access Esters》 was written by Luo, Huihui; Wang, Lianyue; Shang, Sensen; Li, Guosong; Lv, Ying; Gao, Shuang; Dai, Wen. Recommanded Product: 403-33-8 And the article was included in Angewandte Chemie, International Edition in 2020. The article conveys some information:

Selective cleavage and functionalization of C-C bonds have important applications in organic synthesis and biomass use. However, functionalization of C-C bonds by controlled cleavage remains difficult and challenging because they are inert. Herein, the authors describe an unprecedented efficient protocol for the breaking of successive C-C bonds in alcs. to form esters with one or multiple carbon atoms less using heterogeneous cobalt nanoparticles as catalyst with dioxygen as the oxidant. A wide range of alcs. including inactive long-chain alkyl aryl alcs. undergo smoothly successive cleavage of adjacent -(C-C)n- bonds to afford the corresponding esters. The catalyst was used for seven times without any decrease in activity. Characterization and control experiments disclose that cobalt nanoparticles are responsible for the successive cleavage of C-C bonds to achieve excellent catalytic activity, while the presence of Co-Nx has just the opposite effect. Preliminary mechanistic studies reveal that a tandem sequence reaction is involved in this process. And the article was published in Journal of Economic Entomology in 2019. Application of 119-36-8 The author mentioned the following in the article:

The spotted lanternfly, Lycorma delicatula (White), is an invasive phloem feeder recently introduced into North America that attacks a broad range of woody plants. When feeding in large numbers, they can seriously damage or kill a tree. Their preferred host is the invasive tree-of-heaven, Ailanthus altissima Swingle (Sapindales: Simaroubaceae), but they are serious pests of grape, Vitis vinifera L. (Vitales: Vitaceae) and a number of other com. important host plants. Volatile collections were conducted on tree-of-heaven and grape, and the most abundant compounds from these plants present in samples and indicated in the literature were tested for attraction in the laboratory and field. Three compounds, Me salicylate, (Z)-3-hexenol, and (E,E)-α-farnesene, were found to be highly attractive in laboratory behavioral bioassays. Me salicylate was attractive to all stages of L. delicatula, whereas the youngest nymphs were not as attracted to (Z)-3-hexenol or (E,E)-α-farnesene in laboratory bioassays. When comparing individual compounds, Me salicylate attracted the most L. delicatula. Me salicylate lures in the field produced a two- to four-fold increase in captures compared with unbaited controls, and field testing also revealed a significant pos. dose response. Of the several types of sticky bands tested, Web-Cote Industries sticky bands were found to be most efficient at trapping L. delicatula adults and nymphs. The experimental part of the paper was very detailed, including the reaction process of Methyl Salicylate(cas: 119-36-8Application of 119-36-8)

A novel family of DNA polymerases replicates organelle genomes in a wide distribution of taxa encompassing plants and protozoans. Making error-prone mutator versions of gamma DNA polymerases revolutionised our understanding of animal mitochondrial genomes but similar advances have not been made for the organelle DNA polymerases present in plant mitochondria and chloroplasts. We tested the fidelities of error prone tobacco organelle DNA polymerases using a novel pos. selection method involving replication of the phage lambda cI repressor gene. Unlike gamma DNA polymerases, ablation of 3′-5′ exonuclease function resulted in a modest 5-8-fold error rate increase. Combining exonuclease deficiency with a polymerization domain substitution raised the organelle DNA polymerase error rate by 140-fold relative to the wild type enzyme. This high error rate compares favorably with error-rates of mutator versions of animal gamma DNA polymerases. The error prone organelle DNA polymerase introduced mutations at multiple locations ranging from two to seven sites in half of the mutant cI genes studied. Single base substitutions predominated including frequent A:A (template: dNMP) mispairings. High error rate and semi-dominance to the wild type enzyme in vitro make the error prone organelle DNA polymerase suitable for elevating mutation rates in chloroplasts and mitochondria.

Wang, Wenchao; Liu, Huili; Li, Fashe; Wang, Hua; Ma, Xin; Li, Jingjing; Zhou, Li; Xiao, Quan published the artcile< Effects of unsaturated fatty acid methyl esters on the oxidation stability of biodiesel determined by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry and information entropy methods>, Safety of (9Z,12Z)-Methyl octadeca-9,12-dienoate, the main research area is fatty acid methyl ester oxidation gas chromatog mass spectrometry.

To explore the trend of fatty acid Me esters (FAMEs) during the oxidation process of biodiesel, this study uses gas chromatog. – mass spectrometry (GC-MS) combined with information entropy theory to propose a new method to analyze the effect of FAMEs on the stability of biodiesel (especially with different amounts of unsaturated FAMEs). The induction periods of the main FAMEs in biodiesel were determined by the Rancimat method. The results showed that the longest induction period of Me stearate was 248 h, while the induction of Me linoleate was only 0.12 h. Accelerated oxidation of biodiesel, using GC-MS anal. showed that the oxidation trends of FAMEs was different. The oxidation rate of Me linoleate was the fastest. A math. equation was proposed to calculate the trend of FAMEs. The results showed that during the 5 h accelerated an oxidation process, the content of Me linoleate decreased from 28.35% to 2.10%, while the content of Me oleate decreased by 18.21%. Using information entropy, the weighting coefficients of FAMEs in the oxidation process of biodiesel were calculated The weighting coefficient of Me linoleate was as high as 0.6797. Me linoleate was the main reason why biodiesel was easily oxidized.

Yang, Xingjie; Jiang, Xubao; Bashir, Muhammad Sohail; Kong, Xiang Zheng published the artcile< Preparation of Highly Uniform Polyurethane Microspheres by Precipitation Polymerization and Pd Immobilization on Their Surface and Their Catalytic Activity in 4-Nitrophenol Reduction and Dye Degradation>, Reference of 112-63-0, the main research area is palladium immobilized polyurethane microsphere catalyst nitrophenol reduction dye degradation.

Polyurethanes (PUNs) have been widely used in many fields. However, there are few reports on their microsphere preparation through precipitation polymerization Herein, uniform PUN microspheres are prepared by precipitation polymerization of toluene diisocyanate and trimethylolpropane, without any surfactant and stabilizer. Under optimized conditions, monomers are fully polymerized within 2 h at a monomer concentration as high as 25.0 wt %, with a high yield of the microspheres (96.9%). By loading Pd on their surface, composite microspheres Pd@PUN are obtained and used as catalysts. 4-Nitrophenol is completely reduced within 1 min, with a kinetic constant of 4.96 min-1, significantly higher than many reported Pd-loaded catalysts, and with comparable reusability. Used in degradation of dye mols., the catalytic performance is practically unchanged after 20 recycled uses. This work provides a simple method for the preparation of highly uniform PUN microspheres with a high yield and their Pd-loaded catalysts, both of great potential for various applications.

Trost, Barry’s team published research in Journal of the American Chemical Society in 1999-07-07 | 112-63-0

Journal of the American Chemical Society published new progress about Cyclization. 112-63-0 belongs to class esters-buliding-blocks, and the molecular formula is C19H34O2, Recommanded Product: (9Z,12Z)-Methyl octadeca-9,12-dienoate.

Trost, Barry; Krische, Michael J. published the artcile< Palladium-Catalyzed Enyne Cycloisomerization Reaction in an Asymmetric Approach to the Picrotoxane Sesquiterpenes. 2. Second-Generation Total Syntheses of Corianin, Picrotoxinin, Picrotin, and Methyl Picrotoxate>, Recommanded Product: (9Z,12Z)-Methyl octadeca-9,12-dienoate, the main research area is palladium catalyzed enyne cycloisomerization picrotoxane sesquiterpene synthesis; asym synthesis corianin picrotoxinin picrotin methyl picrotoxate; bisdibenzophospholylpropane ligand palladium catalyst enyne cycloisomerization; diphenylphosphinobenzoic acid ligand palladium catalyst enyne cycloisomerization.

An alternative, more efficient synthesis of the picrotoxane core by palladium-catalyzed cycloisomerization of an enyne requires the design of a new catalyst system based upon 1,3-bis(dibenzophospholyl)propane and 2-(diphenylphosphino)benzoic acid as ligands. Thus, unlike thermal processes which leave little opportunity to address failed reactions, the transition-metal-catalyzed reaction provides opportunities for catalyst modification to overcome limitations. In this way, a seven-step synthesis of the picrotoxane core from carvone emerges. The formation of the bislactone depends critically on the ring substitution pattern. A myriad of selective transannular cyclizations occur as a function of this substitution pattern. The bislactone serves as a pivotal intermediate to picrotoxinin (I), picrotin (II), and corianin (III). During the course of the manipulation of the oxidation pattern to create the correct bislactone, an intermediate generated also provides access to Me picrotoxate (IV). An improved sequence from the bislactone to corianin compared to the first generation evolves-in part derived from enhanced control of stereoselectivity in the functionalization of the double bond in the cyclohexenyl portion of the picrotoxane skeleton. Later in the sequence, a hydroxyl-directed chemoselective lactone reduction is employed using lithium triacetoxyborohydride. In the course of these studies, two reactions that involve substitution with retention of configuration occur in high yield as a result of the remarkable reactivity of this densely functionalized ring system.

A series of novel polymeric form-stable phase change materials (FSPCMs) composed of poly(trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate-stearyl methacrylate) (PTS) and stearic acid were synthesized via solvent-free bulk polymerization Stearic acid was used as phase change component, and PTS acted as supporting material. The chem. structure, crystalline properties, phase change ability, thermal reliability, and stability were characterized by Fourier transform IR spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD), polarizing optical microscopy (POM), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), accelerated thermal cycling testing, and thermogravimetric anal. (TG), resp. The DSC results revealed that the maximum freezing and melting latent heat can reach 143.5 and 146.7 J g-1. The POM and XRD results proved the existence of spherocrystal. Accelerating thermal test and TG demonstrated that FSPCMs had good reliability and stability in practical application. The prepared form-stable phase change materials with high enthalpy and proper phase change temperature have a promising prospect in thermal energy storage.

Zhao, Haocheng’s team published research in Chemical Papers in 2020-11-30 | 112-63-0

Chemical Papers published new progress about Anodic bonding. 112-63-0 belongs to class esters-buliding-blocks, and the molecular formula is C19H34O2, Safety of (9Z,12Z)-Methyl octadeca-9,12-dienoate.

Zhao, Haocheng; Zhang, Weixuan; Yin, Xu; Wu, Yuling; Du, Chao; Zhao, Weigang; Zhao, Li; Liu, Cuirong published the artcile< TMP-based hyperbranched polyurethane elastomer (HBPUE) packaging material applied to anodic bonding>, Safety of (9Z,12Z)-Methyl octadeca-9,12-dienoate, the main research area is hyperbranched polyurethane elastomer packaging material anodic bonding.

In this work, hyperbranched polyurethane elastomer (HBPUE) electrolyte and aluminum foil (Al) were joined together by anodic bonding. It provides a possibility for packaging of flexible devices to use anodic bonding. The HBPUEs were designed and prepared via prepolymerization method cured at room temperature using polypropylene glycol (PPG), toluene-2,4-diisocyanate(TDI), lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide (LiTFSI) and the varying ratios of trimethylolpropane (TMP)/1,4-butanediol (BDO). All HBPUEs prepared exhibited low glass transition temperature (Tg) and good thermal stability. The highly branched structures increase the proportion of amorphous phase of HBPUEs, resulting in a high ionic conductivity with a highest value of 2.38 x 10-4 S cm-1 at 70°C when adding TMP and BDO at the ratio of 0.45:0.45 (HBPUE3). There are no obvious diffraction peaks of the LiTFSI in the XRD patterns, indicating that LiTFSI was dissolved in polyurethane matrix completely. XRD results show that the structures of PEO-PUEs are amorphous. The HBPUEs prepared have good mech. properties that can be used as packaging material. After bonded, the microstructures of the bonded interface between HBPUE and Al with a clear intermediate bonding layer could be observed by the cross-sectional SEM images, and the elements diffused were also detected by the energy-dispersive spectrometer (EDS), indicating that the HBPUEs and Al were bonded together successfully. The maximum tensile strength for HBPUE3/Al was up to 1.15 MPa. All results demonstrated that the HBPUEs prepared would be a promising packaging material for flexible devices applied to anodic bonding.
