Potassium carbonate (35 mg, 0.254 mmol) was added and the mixture was heated at 180 ¡ãC for 2 h in a microwave reactor. Silica gel was added and solvents evaporated. The dry silica was applied on a flash column which was eluted with 35-50percent) EtOAc in hexanes. Yield: 6 mg (18percent>); colourless oil.
