Then sodium triacetoxyborohydride (11.72 g, 55.28 mmol) was added at 0 C. and reaction stirred overnight at room temperature. On completion, solvent was removed under reduced pressure and crude material was purified by column chromatography to afford the desired compound (5.2 g, 66.24%).
