Metz, N.; Lange, B.; Zentel, R.; Theato, P. published the artcile< Functionalized nanoparticles using active ester monomers as shell component>, Application of C9H3F5O2, the main research area is core shell polymer monodisperse nanoparticle preparation.
Colloidal photonic crystals were prepared from monodisperse core-shell particles. The shell is formed from a functional monomer, which can perform chem. reactions and the core from a standard monomer, which yields highly monodisperse colloids. It was possible to crystallize artificial opals with excellent optical properties, which have glycidylmethacrylate or different reactive ester monomers as shell material. Reactions on the functional surface of the colloids were carried out, which lead to a significant rise of mech. stability and to a modification of the surface with biomaterials and subsequent growth of a gold layer.
Polymer Preprints (American Chemical Society, Division of Polymer Chemistry) published new progress about Core-shell polymers Role: PRP (Properties), SPN (Synthetic Preparation), PREP (Preparation). 71195-85-2 belongs to class esters-buliding-blocks, and the molecular formula is C9H3F5O2, Application of C9H3F5O2.
