Zirconia is extensively used for manufacturing dental prostheses because of its superior mech. properties. The idea of using 3D printing to manufacture zirconia dental prostheses has gradually become popular, but printing accurate shapes and obtaining excellent dimensional accuracy still remain challenging. In this study, the optimal curing parameters and shrinkage ratios of zirconia slurry were investigated using a multi-angle model and a standard fixed crown model. Then the dimensional accuracy and crown fit were investigated, and the fixed crown and fixed bridge were fabricated by using digital light processing (DLP) technol. Further, the dimensional accuracy and crown fit were investigated. The results showed that the optimal curing parameters and enlargement factors for zirconia fixed crown printing were 80 PWM (light source power), 2s (curing time) and 1.400, 1.400, 1.500 (in X, Y, Z directions), resp. The internal fit was 239.3 ± 7.9 μm, which met the clin. criteria (≤300 μm), whereas the marginal fit was 128.1 ± 7.1 μm, which was extremely close to the clin. criteria (≤120 μm). For dimensional accuracy, the standard error of sintered fixed crown was 0.14 ± 0.06 mm, and the boundary dimensional accuracy and anatomical landmark points′ dimensional accuracy were also investigated. In addition, the d. of sintered zirconia was 6.01 ± 0.02 g/cm3. From the results of this study, it could be found that the crown fit of zirconia fixed crowns printed using the DLP technique could be close to clin. standards, although there is still a gap with the zirconia fixed crowns from the milling technique. In addition incomplete removal of the support structures have a neg. impact on dimensional accuracy, hence it is necessary to further explore the optimization strategies of the support structures for improving the dimensional accuracy of fixed crowns printed by DLP.

The effect of quantum-chem. parameters on the toxicity of benzoic acid derivatives in rats via oral 50% LD (LD50) was studied by QSTR, and a model to predict the toxicity of benzoic acid derivatives was constructed. In order to obtain an accurate model, cross factors were considered and a model for predicting the toxicity of benzoic acid derivatives in rats via oral LD50 was built using a linear regression method (correlation 0.990). The novel model is -logtoxi = 0.144 LogP -0.0269SAG + 0.0000127HoF – 0.000377PE, R2 = 0.990, C(p) = 4.000, mean square error (MSE) = 0.785. The model demonstrated good forecasting ability.

Silicon carbon black (SiCB), a kind of biomass carbon material, is a kind of pyrolysis ash prepared by anoxic pyrolysis of rice husk. When filled as an inorganic reinforcement in the composite material basalt fiber (BF) reinforced polyamide 6 (PA6), it has synergetic effect with the POE-g-MAH elastomer. Differential scanning calorimetry anal. shows that KSiCB plays a role of heterogeneous nucleation in the composite material, accelerates the nucleation and crystallization speed of PA6, and can increase the strength and rigidity of the composite material. Scanning electron microscope observation of the fracture surface of the composite material shows that the addition of KSiCB can effectively “pin” and inhibit crack propagation. When the content of KSiCB is 2.5 phr, the tensile strength of the composite material KSiCB/POE-g-MAH/PA6(BF) reaches a maximum of 125.194 MPa, the tensile modulus is 2791.257 MPa, the bending strength reaches 192.034 MPa, and the impact toughness reaches 23.42 kJ/m2.

Inhibition of spleen tyrosine kinase (Syk) is a promising strategy for the treatment of various allergic and autoimmune disorders such as asthma, rheumatoid arthritis, and allergic rhinitis. Previously, a Syk inhibitor with novel indazole scaffold was discovered by structure-based virtual screening. Herein, the structure-activity relationship of the indazole Syk inhibitors was investigated. Several new inhibitors demonstrated potent activity against Syk. The resulting three MAPAs and PA were added to an exptl. adhesive formulated with HEMA and a tri-component photoinitiator system (0.5 wt% CQ/EDMAB/DPIHP) at 1%, 5% and 10% MAPA or PA concentrations (wt%). The adhesive polymerization kinetics was measured continuously in real-time for 10 min using a Fourier-transform IR spectroscopy (FTIR) with an attenuated total reflectance (ATR) accessory. Degree of conversion (DC) and Vickers microhardness (MH) of cured adhesives were measured at 72 h post-cure. The leaching of cured adhesives in DI water was monitored using UV-vis spectrophotometer. Statistical anal. was performed using one-way and two-way ANOVA, Tukey’s (p < 0.05).The adhesive formulations with 1%, 5% and 10% MAPAs-1, -2, -3 all generated higher rate of polymerization and 10-min DC than the formulations with PA at the same concentrations At 72 h post-cure, the adhesive formulation with 5% MAPA-2 exhibited significantly higher DC (99.40%) and more than doubled MH (18.93) values than the formulation with 5% PA (DC = 89.47%, MH = 8.41) and the control (DC = 95.46%, MH = 9.33). Moreover, the cured adhesive with 5% MAPA-2 demonstrated significantly reduced PA leaching in comparison with cured adhesive with 5% PA.Synthesized MAPA is a novel class of polymerizable collagen crosslinker that not only stabilizes dentin collagen via its PA component, but also improves polymerization, mech. properties and stability of HEMA-based adhesives via its MA component. By inheriting the benefit while overcoming the drawback of PA, MAPA offers a revolutionary solution for improved bond-strength and longevity of dental restorations.

Jinzhou shrimp paste is a traditional Chinese fermented seafood product manufactured from northern mauxia shrimp (Acete chinensis) and salt. The aims of this study were to detect the bacterial community succession using high-throughput sequencing and the volatile compound changes using headspace solid-phase microextraction combined with gas chromatog.-mass spectrometry during shrimp paste fermentation The results show that various bacterial communities appeared in the fermentation process. Pseudoalteromonas and unclassified Pseudoalteromonadaceae were the dominant genera but quickly replaced by Tetragenococcus after 1 mo of fermentation Staphylococcus, Oceanobacillus and unclassified Bacillaceae became the predominant genera as fermentation progressed. In addition, a total of 25 volatile compounds were identified, including aldehydes, ketones, alcs., esters, pyrazines, acids, and sulfides. Correlation anal. indicated that the bacteria Pseudoalteromonas, Staphylococcus, and Oceanobacillus were important in the formation of volatile compounds Pseudoalteromonas pos. correlated with ketones, alcs., esters, and acids; Staphylococcus pos. correlated with aldehydes and acids; and Oceanobacillus pos. correlated with aldehydes and pyrazines. The aim of this study was to establish a new pruning system for dormant grapevines. The traditional independent long-stem pruning (ILSP) was used as control to compare the effect of single crawled cordon training (SCCT) on the aroma compounds of Ecolly dry white wine. The aroma compounds of dry white wines from Ecolly grapes harvested at three time points (80, 90 and 120 days) after anthesis were extracted by solid-phase micro-extraction and analyzed by gas chromatog.-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). A total of 30 compounds with contents ranging from 3.9 μg to 1.5311 mg and a total amount of 14.0407 mg were identified in these wine samples. Esters were accumulated mainly by ILSP except for ethanol esters at 80 days after anthesis. SCCT led to higher contents of higher alcs., ethanol esters and organic acids than ILSP at 80 days after anthesis whereas ILSP wines brewed at 120 days after anthesis displayed more complex aroma characteristics. SCCT could improve the earlier accumulation of aroma compounds in wine and guarantee the stable yield and quality of wine, thereby favoring the sustainable development of wine industry.
