In rats in which edema was provoked by injection of carrageen, eterylate (I) [62992-61-4], benorylate (II) [5003-48-5], and acetylsalicylic acid (III) [50-78-2] (100,158.48, and 251.18 mg/kg, resp.) showed the same degree of antiinflammatory activity.
