Wang, Y.; Tam, W.; Stevenson, S. H.; Clement, R. A.; Calabrese, J. published the artcile< New organic nonlinear optical materials of stilbene and diphenylacetylene derivatives>, SDS of cas: 112-63-0, the main research area is second harmonic generation nonlinear stilbene; phenylacetylene nonlinear second harmonic generation; mol polarizability nonlinear stilbene derivative; optical material nonlinear stilbene diphenylacetylene; polymorphism nonlinear stilbene diphenylacetylene.
A series of new optically non-linear organic mols. of stilbene and diphenylacetylene derivatives were examined to determine their powder 2nd-harmonic generation efficiency and, in certain cases, the 2nd-order mol. polarizability, β. This series of mols. is characterized by very large non-linearity, high probability of forming non-centrosym. crystal effective mols., and polymorphism. A number of weaker donors (MeO, Br, I) have been identified as effective moieties to enhance the intrinsic mol. non-linearity. Using weak donors to prepare highly non-linear optical materials provides advantages of having better optical transparency and high probability of forming acentric structures.
Chemical Physics Letters published new progress about Optical hyperpolarizability. 112-63-0 belongs to class esters-buliding-blocks, and the molecular formula is C19H34O2, SDS of cas: 112-63-0.
