Qiao, Jing’s team published research in ACS Infectious Diseases in 2018-09-14 | 71195-85-2

ACS Infectious Diseases published new progress about Antibacterial agents. 71195-85-2 belongs to class esters-buliding-blocks, and the molecular formula is C9H3F5O2, Electric Literature of 71195-85-2.

Qiao, Jing; Purro, Max; Liu, Zhi; Xiong, May P. published the artcile< Terpyridine-Micelles for Inhibiting Bacterial Biofilm Development>, Electric Literature of 71195-85-2, the main research area is antibacterial biofilm iron terpyridine micelle; Tpy−micelle; biofilm; cystic fibrosis.

Iron plays a critical role in bacterial infections and is especially critical for supporting biofilm formation. Until recently, Fe(III) was assumed to be the most relevant form of iron to chelate in therapeutic antimicrobial strategies due to its natural abundance under normal oxygen and physiol. conditions. Recent clin. data obtained from cystic fibrosis (CF) patients found that there is actually quite an abundance of Fe(II) present in sputum and that there exists a significant relationship between sputum Fe(II) concentration and severity of the disease. A biocompatible mixed micelle formed from the self-assembly of poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid)-block-methoxy poly(ethylene glycol) (PLGA-b-mPEG) and poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid)-block-poly(terpyridine)5 [PLGA-b-p(Tpy)5] polymers was prepared to chelate Fe(II) (Tpy-micelle). Tpy-micelles showed high selectivity for Fe(II) over Fe(III), decreased biofilm mass more effectively under anaerobic conditions at >4 μM Tpy-micelles, reduced bacteria growth in biofilms by >99.9% at 128 μM Tpy-micelles, effectively penetrated throughout a 1-day old biofilm, and inhibited biofilm development in a concentration-dependent manner. This study reveals that Fe(II) chelating Tpy-micelles are a promising addition to Fe(III) chelating strategies to inhibit biofilm formation in CF lung infections.

Wong, Man Shing; Li, Zhong Hui; Tao, Ye; D’Iorio, Marie published the artcile< Synthesis and Functional Properties of Donor-Acceptor π-Conjugated Oligomers>, Product Details of C19H34O2, the main research area is function property donor acceptor pi conjugation oligomer synthesis.

Novel donor-acceptor oligophenylenevinylenes (OPVs) bearing an electron-donating 2-(2-butoxyethoxy)ethoxy group at one end and various electron-withdrawing groups including alkylsulfonyl, cyano, and nitro functionalities at the other end have been synthesized for investigation of structure-functional property relationships. Depending on the nature of the electron-withdrawing group, the newly synthesized donor-acceptor OPVs can exhibit an efficient light-emitting property or a large photovoltaic effect. The asym. disubstituted OPV bearing 2-(2-butoxy-ethoxy)ethoxy-hexylsulfonyl functionalities possesses superior mol. properties for light-emitting applications than the sym. 2-(2-butoxyethoxy)ethoxy-disubstituted counterparts. In addition, our first observation and investigation on the photovoltaic response in polyalkyleneoxy-nitro disubstituted OPV series is reported. The spectral response of the photovoltaic device corresponds to the absorption characteristics of the oligomer. Most importantly, the photocurrent response increases with an extension of the conjugated length of the oligomer.

To assess trueness of IM, MIL, and stereolithog. printed denture bases after manufacturing, hydrothermal cycling, and microwave sterilization. 16 Edentulous maxillary plaster models were poured using silicone mold and digitized by means of desktop scanner. For group IM, 16 denture bases were injection molded. MIL and SLA, denture bases were virtually designed and manufactured referring to digitized data. A total of 48 samples were scanned 1) after manufacturing, 2) after hydrothermal cycling three as well as 4) six cycles of microwave sterilization for 6 min each at 640 W. The 3D surface deviation of the total intaglio surface, the palate, the alveolar ridge, and the border seal region was evaluated on basis of RMSE and pos. and neg. mean deviations with inspection software. In comparison, IM showed increased, mainly pos., deviations at border seal. SLA presented highest total RMSE with increased neg. deviations, likewise at the border seal. In contrast to SLA, no differences between IM and MIL were measured after hydrothermal cycling. Following microwave sterilization, the trueness of SLA was higher compared to IM and MIL with no differences between MIL and IM. Distortion of IM and MIL was measured after the 3rd cycle with no further changes observed Subtractive manufacturing of denture bases results in the highest trueness, followed by IM and SLA. IM and SLA, hydrothermal cycling did not affect MIL. SLA printed denture bases remained dimensionally stable after microwave sterilization.

Life Sciences published new progress about Antiproliferative agents. 112-63-0 belongs to class esters-buliding-blocks, and the molecular formula is C19H34O2, Quality Control of 112-63-0.

Minaei, Soraya Emamgholizadeh; Khoei, Samideh; Khoee, Sepideh; Mahdavi, Seied Rabi published the artcile< Sensitization of glioblastoma cancer cells to radiotherapy and magnetic hyperthermia by targeted temozolomide-loaded magnetite tri-block copolymer nanoparticles as a nanotheranostic agent>, Quality Control of 112-63-0, the main research area is glioblastoma cancer radiotherapy magnetic hyperthermia nanotheranostics temozolomide; magnetite triblock copolymer nanoparticles; Combination treatment; Hyperthermia; Nanoparticle; Radio-sensitizer; Radiotherapy; Thermo-sensitizer.

Recently, the development of new strategies in the treatment and diagnosis of cancer cells such as thermo-radiation-sensitizer and theranostic agents have received a great deal of attention. In this work, folic acid-conjugated temozolomide-loaded SPION@PEG-PBA-PEG nanoparticles (TMZ-MNP-FA NPs) were proposed for use as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) contrast agents and to enhance the cytotoxic effects of hyperthermia and radiotherapy. Nanoparticles were synthesized by the Nano-precipitation method and their characteristics were determined by dynamic light scattering (DLS), SEM (SEM) and X-ray powder diffraction (XRD). To evaluate the thermo-radio-sensitization effects of NPs, C6 cells were treated with nanoparticles for 24 h and then exposed to 6-MV X-ray radiation. After radiotherapy, the cells were subjected to an alternating magnetic field (AMF) hyperthermia. The therapeutic potential was assessed using clonogenic assay, ROS generation measurement, flow cytometry assay, and qRT-PCR anal. Also, the diagnostic properties of the nanoparticles were assessed by MRI. MRI scanning indicated that nanoparticles accumulated in C6 cells could be tracked by T2-weighted MR imaging. Colony formation assay proved that TMZ-MNP-FA NPs enhanced the anti-proliferation effects of AMF by 1.94-fold compared to AMF alone (P < 0.0001). Moreover, these NPs improved the radiation effects with a dose enhancement factor of 1.65. All results showed that the combination of carrier-based chemotherapy with hyperthermia and radiotherapy caused a higher anticancer efficacy than single- or two-modality treatments. The nanoparticles advanced in this study can be proposed as the promising theranostic and thermo-radio-sensitizer platform for the diagnosis and tri-modal synergistic cancer therapy. Journal of Pharmacological Sciences (Amsterdam, Netherlands) published new progress about Atrophy. 112-63-0 belongs to class esters-buliding-blocks, and the molecular formula is C19H34O2, Product Details of C19H34O2.

Kawashiri, Takehiro; Miyagi, Anna; Shimizu, Shiori; Shigematsu, Nao; Kobayashi, Daisuke; Shimazoe, Takao published the artcile< Dimethyl fumarate ameliorates chemotherapy agent-induced neurotoxicity in vitro>, Product Details of C19H34O2, the main research area is neurodegeneration dimethyl fumarate chemotherapy; Chemotherapy agents; Dimethyl fumarate; Neurotoxicity; Nuclear factor-erythroid-2-related factor 2 (Nrf2); Oxaliplatin.

Chemotherapy agents such as oxaliplatin, cisplatin, paclitaxel, and bortezomib frequently cause severe peripheral neuropathy and there is currently no effective strategy to prevent this. Di-Me fumarate (DMF) is a new oral drug for the treatment of multiple sclerosis, and has neuroprotective effects via up-regulation of the nuclear factor-erythroid-2-related factor 2 (Nrf2)-dependent antioxidant response. In this study, we investigated the effect of DMF on chemotherapy agent-induced neurodegenerations in cultured cells. We found that DMF and its metabolite monomethyl fumarate (MMF) attenuated oxaliplatin-, cisplatin-, and bortezomib- (but not paclitaxel-) induced inhibition of neurite outgrowth, but had no effect on cell death as a result of these agents in cultured PC12 cells and primary cultured rat dorsal root ganglion (DRG) neurons. Furthermore, Nrf2 DNA binding activity was increased by DMF and MMF in PC12 cells. These findings suggest that DMF, which activates Nrf2 pathway, has a potential protective action against chemotherapy-induced neurotoxicity, particularly neurite impairments.

Dalton Transactions published new progress about Activation energy. 112-63-0 belongs to class esters-buliding-blocks, and the molecular formula is C19H34O2, Application of C19H34O2.

Han, Fengfeng; Jin, Qi; Xiao, Junpeng; Wu, Lili; Zhang, Xitian published the artcile< V2CTX catalyzes polysulfide conversion to enhance the redox kinetics of Li-S batteries>, Application of C19H34O2, the main research area is vanadium carbide polysulfide conversion redox kinetics lithium sulfur battery.

Lithium-sulfur (Li-S) batteries have the potential to become the future energy storage system, yet they are plagued by sluggish redox kinetics. Therefore, enhancing the redox kinetics of polysulfides is key for the development of high-energy d. and long-life Li-S batteries. Herein, a Ketjen Black (KB)/V2CTX modified separator (KB/V2CTX-PP) based on the catalytic effect in continuous solid-to-liquid-to-solid reactions is proposed to accelerate the conversion of sulfur species during the charge/discharge process in which the V2CTX can enhance the redox kinetics and inhibit polysulfide shuttling. The cells assembled with KB/V2CTX-PP achieve a gratifying first discharge capacity of 1236.1 mA h g-1 at 0.2C and the average capacity decay per cycle reaches 0.049% within 1000 cycles at 1C. The work provides an efficient idea to accelerate redox conversion and suppress shuttle effects by designing a multifunctional catalytic separator.
